Privacy policy

Effective date: 7 October 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Wayside Atlas, published at flix-bus.world, handles information in connection with this static informational website. The short version is simple: the site does not use analytics, tracking, cookies, advertising technology, accounts, forms, payments or server-side data storage. It is designed to be read, not to profile visitors.

Information this website does not collect

Wayside Atlas does not ask visitors to create an account, log in, subscribe, submit a form, purchase a product, book travel, post a comment or upload a file. We do not intentionally collect names, email addresses, telephone numbers, postal addresses, payment details, passport details, ticket references, precise location, device identifiers or travel itineraries through the site.

We do not use first-party analytics, third-party analytics, advertising pixels, social-media pixels, behavioural tracking, fingerprinting or audience measurement tools. We do not set cookies or use similar client-side storage for analytics, marketing, personalization, authentication or functional preferences. We do not sell, rent or share visitor data because this website does not collect that visitor data.

Technical delivery

Like any website, a hosting or network provider may process limited technical connection information as needed to deliver pages, secure infrastructure or meet its own legal obligations. This may include an IP address, request time, requested resource, browser or device information and error information in ordinary network or security logs. Wayside Atlas does not configure server-side storage or use such information for visitor profiling, marketing, analytics or a user account. Any provider’s independent processing is governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy notice.

The site pages contain supplied image links and ordinary hyperlinks. Visiting an external link is a choice made by the visitor. Once you leave flix-bus.world, the destination’s privacy practices apply. We do not control third-party websites, including transportation operators, public authorities, maps, lodging providers or social platforms, and encourage readers to review their current policies.

Email correspondence

If you voluntarily email [email protected], your message and the information you choose to include are processed only to read, respond to and handle the editorial inquiry or correction. Please do not send sensitive information such as passport details, ticket references, payment data, medical information or urgent support requests. Email transmission is not guaranteed to be secure, and the address is not an operator support channel.

We do not use email messages to create marketing lists, behavioural profiles or travel dossiers. Correspondence may be retained only as reasonably necessary to address the communication, maintain an editorial correction record, protect against misuse or comply with applicable legal obligations, then deleted or minimized when no longer needed. We do not promise a response and do not use correspondence to make automated decisions.

Children, choices and rights

The site is general travel reading and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a website feature, because it has no submission features. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information by email may ask us to delete it by writing to the address above.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information processed about you, including access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. In the limited case of voluntary email correspondence, contact us at [email protected] and describe your request. We may need enough information to understand and verify the request, and legal or security obligations may limit what can be deleted immediately.

Changes and contact

We may revise this policy if the site’s practices change. A revised effective date will be posted on this page. If the site later introduces any feature that changes the absence of analytics, tracking, cookies, accounts, forms, server-side storage or payments, this policy will be updated to describe it before or when that change is made as appropriate.

Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected]. For the independent editorial purpose and usage limits of the site, read Terms and About.

Cookie and tracking statement

Wayside Atlas does not operate a consent banner because it does not set analytics, advertising, personalization or authentication cookies and does not use comparable browser storage for tracking. Browser settings, network tools or third-party websites you choose to visit may have their own behaviours; those are outside this static site’s control. If the technical design of the site changes, we will update this policy to say so plainly.

The site does not conduct automated profiling, targeted advertising, sale of personal information, cross-context behavioural advertising, or automated decision-making about visitors. It does not offer a logged-in area or retain a profile that follows a reader from page to page. This policy describes the site as published; it does not override privacy choices you make on other websites.

What this site actually does

This is a static informational publication. It does not provide accounts, ticket booking, a checkout, payment processing, reservations, a support portal, a newsletter sign-up, analytics, behavioural advertising or a server-side contact form. The editorial email link and contact helper open the reader’s own email application; this site does not receive, transmit to its server or store the draft.

Pages load third-party assets: Tailwind CSS and web fonts from their named providers, and editorial photographs delivered by a media CDN. A request for those resources can disclose ordinary network information (such as IP address, requested asset, browser details, approximate time and referrer as configured by the browser) to the respective provider. Those services set their own policies; the site operator does not control their processing. Clicking an external official-operator link likewise leaves this site and is subject to the external provider’s terms and privacy policy.

The pages contain no site-operated analytics, advertising tags, visitor account or persistent preference storage, and they do not intentionally set cookies. A browser, CDN or third party may still have its own technical logs or cookie behaviour. If the publication’s technical setup changes, this explanation must be revised to match the new implementation.
