Terms of use
Effective date: 7 October 2026. These Terms of Use govern access to Wayside Atlas at flix-bus.world. By using the site, you agree to use it as a general informational and educational travel resource, subject to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Independent editorial purpose
Wayside Atlas publishes original editorial material about planning European coach travel, stations, local transport, luggage and travel preparation. It is not a transportation operator, travel agent, booking platform, payment provider, ticket seller, customer-support centre, government authority, immigration adviser, legal adviser, medical adviser or emergency service.
FlixBus is a separate transportation operator. References to FlixBus or any other operator do not create or imply ownership, employment, agency, endorsement, authorization, partnership, representation or official affiliation. The site does not access operator systems and cannot amend a booking, issue a ticket, confirm a departure, locate a vehicle, process a refund or decide a claim.
Information, accuracy and updates
We aim to make editorial content clear and useful, but travel information changes. Routes, stops, schedules, availability, fares, permits, luggage conditions, accessibility arrangements, border processes, local public transport, vehicle amenities and legal requirements may change without notice and may differ by route, operator, date, location and individual circumstances. We do not guarantee that any article is complete, current, error-free, suitable for a particular itinerary or available at a particular time.
Route references are illustrative planning examples
Route references are illustrative planning examples, not a representation that a service currently exists or will operate. No content on this site is a schedule, fare quote, availability statement, ticket, reservation, baggage allowance, refund policy, cancellation term, accessibility guarantee or border instruction. You are responsible for confirming all material details before travel.
Official verification and third-party links
Before making a travel decision, verify the relevant current information with the actual operator and, where relevant, the official local public-transport authority and competent government or consular authority. As one example of a separate operator source, readers considering that operator may consult FlixBus’s official website; that external link is provided to direct readers to a current operator source, not as endorsement or proof of any route-specific condition. Other operators and authorities have their own official channels.
Links to third-party sites are offered for reader convenience and context. We do not control, review continuously, endorse, guarantee or accept responsibility for their content, security, accessibility, availability, services, policies or transactions. Your use of a third-party site, including any booking or payment, is governed by that site’s own terms and policies.
No professional or emergency advice
Content is not legal, immigration, customs, tax, medical, safety, accessibility, financial or professional advice. It does not account for your nationality, visa status, health, disability, age, family circumstances, possessions, insurance, destination rules or travel objectives. Seek competent professional, government, consular, medical or emergency assistance where appropriate. In an emergency or immediate safety concern, contact local emergency services or on-site authorities rather than relying on this website or email.
Acceptable use and intellectual property
You may read, link to and share links to the site for lawful personal, non-commercial informational use, provided you do not misrepresent the source or independent status of Wayside Atlas. Except where otherwise indicated, the site’s original text, editorial arrangement, name and other original material are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may not reproduce, scrape, systematically extract, republish, modify, sell, create a competing database from, or present substantial portions of the content as your own without prior written permission, except to the extent allowed by applicable law.
Photographs are used with their stated source attribution and may be subject to separate rights. No permission is granted by these Terms to reuse images or third-party material. Names, marks and services of third parties belong to their respective owners; their mention does not grant a licence or create an affiliation.
Reasonable limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wayside Atlas and those involved in publishing it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss arising from travel decisions, missed connections, delays, service changes, border decisions, reliance on third-party information, loss of data, loss of luggage, personal injury, or use or inability to use the site. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
You use the site and any third-party link at your own discretion and risk. You remain responsible for verifying official current information, arranging appropriate travel documentation and insurance where suitable, and making prudent decisions for your circumstances.
Changes, severability and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to the extent permitted by law. These Terms do not create any agency, employment, partnership or joint venture relationship.
For an editorial correction or a question about these Terms, contact [email protected]. That address is not operator support. See also Privacy, About and Contact.
